Abstract
The Fe-containing zeolite heterogeneous Fenton-like reaction catalysts were prepared by evaporation impregnation liquid methods, with natural zeolite as carrier and ferrous sulphate heptahydrate as impregnation liquid. The dye wastewater, Cationic Red X-GRL, was degraded by hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by these catalysts. The catalysts prepared at the conditions of impregnated liquid concentration 0.18 mg/L, calcined temperature 300 ℃, had a higher iron content, better catalytic effect and stability. Catalysts had the best catalytic effect, when reaction time was 120 min, solution pH was 3.0, catalysts dosage was 20.0 g/L, and H2O2 concentration was 30.0 mmol/L. The TOC, chromaticity, CODCr, and TN removal rates of the dye wastewater, Cationic Red X-GRL, were 60.3%, 99.4%, 55.5% and 49.9%, respectively. After repeated used three times, the catalysts still had a certain catalytic effect.
