Abstract:
The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has formulated and released the
Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Coal-Fired Power Plants (DB64/ 1996-2024). New enterprises will implement the standard from May 4, 2024, while existing enterprises will implement it from January 1, 2025. The new standard is a mandatory local one and, compared with the special emission limit values of the national standard
Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Thermal Power Plants (GB 13223-2011), particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and NO
x have been tightened by 50%, 30%, and 50%, respectively, and ammonia emission limits have been added. The main reason for the revision of this standard is that the current national thermal power standard has a standard age of over 10 years, which cannot meet the new situation of air pollution prevention and control. In recent years, the majority of thermal power enterprises in Ningxia have completed ultra-low emissions and energy-saving transformation, and all major pollutants can achieve standard emissions. The implementation of this standard will become an important lever for pollution prevention and control, total emission reduction, adjustment of industrial structure, and optimization of layout in Ningxia's thermal power industry. It will effectively promote the optimization and adjustment of the structure of Ningxia's thermal power industry, the progress of production industry and pollution control technology, and provide strong support for promoting precise pollution control, scientific pollution control, and legal pollution control, and achieving green and high-quality development.
