Abstract:
The performance and style of the adsorption of NH
4+-N and PO
43--P by zeolite, haydite and volcanic rock were studied. The results showed that with the three stuffs, the adsorption of NH
4+-N and PO
43--P all reached equilibrium basically after 4 hours and the adsorption capacity of NH
4+-N and PO
43--P increased with the increasing of the initial concentration and temperature. Zeolite and haydite had the highest adsorption ability of NH
4+-N (29 777.77 mg/kg) and PO
43--P (476.19 mg/kg), respectively. Both Langmuir and Freundlich equations were suitable to describe the adsorption of NH
4+-N and PO
43--P by the three stuffs, and Freundlich equation could better describe the adsorption of NH
4+-N, while Langmuir equation could better describe the adsorption of PO
43--P.
