Abstract:
The mass transfer characteristics of the acrylic acid in FBM bipolar membrane were studied. The effects of acrylic acid concentration in acid chamber, sodium hydroxide concentration in alkaline chamber and temperature were investigated. At the temperature of 20℃, when the concentration of acrylic acid and sodium hydroxide increased from 0.5 to 4.0 mol/L, the mass transfer coefficient(
kbip) changed little. In the range of 15 to 30℃, the mass transfer coefficient increased with the increase of the temperature, which followed the Arrhenius' Equation.
